For the first time since 2005, Messi has not been named on the 30-man list for the most prestigious individual award in world football. The Argentine holds the record for most Ballon d’Or awards in the history of the game with seven to his name. Messi won the Ballon d’Or in 2021 but endured a difficult maiden season with PSG last time out after leaving Barcelona. France Football’s deputy editor-in-chief Emmanuel Bojan has opened up on Lionel Messi’s omission due to the new criteria for the award....

That being said, there’s no guarantee that we will see a repeat of that at the Ballon d’Or ceremony, come December. For a while now, a dedicated Banjo-Kazooie fan has been working to bring back some of these classic worlds from the Nintendo 64 game in better detail. Known as Project Dream (a codename related to the development of Banjo-Kazooie) on YouTube, the creator has been releasing a series of videos showcasing remastered worlds from the game in cinematic trailers. In a post on TikTok, a user named Gracie, also known as veganpastrychef, shared a video of a pie they baked based on Majora’s Mask. The pastry was especially interesting because the creator had managed to recreate the titular mask worn by Skull Kid in the game. Garrett ripped Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph’s helmet off with eight seconds remaining in the game, then swung the helmet at Rudolph and hit Rudolph in the head.
